After the loss of two key members over the summer, fans will be grateful to hear that the Trans-Siberian Orchestra's annual winter tour lives on. The holiday musical powerhouse group will bring its yuletide tour de force in Duluth, Georgia on Dec. 9 for a pair of shows at the Infinite Energy Arena.
The two-act show will feature a new rendition of the group's signature rock opera "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve," which was developed by the group's late founder Paul O’Neill prior to his death. Updated songs include "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24," "O’ Come All Ye Faithful," "Good King Joy," "Christmas Canon," "Music Box Blues," "Promises To Keep" and "This Christmas Day." A second set will present additional fan-favorites.
TSO also lost longtime bassist Dave Z in a tragic accident over the summer. According to a press release, the group suggests you honor the late members by doing "something unusually kind or generous for someone less fortunate or for someone who could just use a helping hand." In that spirit, the band will continue its tradition of donating a portion of every ticket sold to select local charities. Grab tickets to see TSO at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, Georgia on Dec. 9 at 3 PM here and 8 PM here.
