Earlier this spring, TobyMac, the multi-talented, critically-acclaimed Christian rapper and musician, embarked on his HITS DEEP Tour, a stretch of dates where he sold out shows in 26 markets. Now, following the massive success of that HITS DEEP Tour, the performer has announced another HITS DEEP Tour for 2017.
For this new HITS DEEP Tour, TobyMac will headline while songwriter Matt Maher, gospel artist Mandisa, Mac Powell from Third Day, Capital Kings, Ryan Stevenson, and Hollyn will support him on dates.
"I always get excited when it’s time to create the ‘HITS DEEP Tour' line-up. I love the idea of putting together artists that are just starting their journey with veterans, electronic artists with organic artistry and colors of skin that demonstrate God’s diverse kingdom. We come together backstage - which leads us to a beautiful night on stage. A night deep in hits, that aims to hit you deep. A night where everybody is invited to the party!” said TobyMac in a press release.
The tour will kick off Feb. 9 at the Landers Center in Southaven, Mississippi, and will take TobyMac through dates in the south and east, before wrapping up on April 9 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. Check out the full list of dates on TobyMac’s official website.
The HITS DEEP Tour also supports a good cause. The rapper has teamed up with Food for the Hungry, a partnership that has previously enabled concertgoers to sponsor over 15,000 children, helping provide food, quality education, clean water, and medical treatment.
Included in these new dates is a stop at Atlanta’s Infinite Energy Arena on Thursday, March 9. Tickets go on sale this Friday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. EDT.
