On Thursday, the Smashing Pumpkins announced founding members Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlin, and James Iha would be featured on tour for the first time in 20 years.
The Grammy-winning alternative rock band will be hitting the road for their Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour that will hit 36 cities across North America.

The tour will highlight music from the inception of the band through 2000, and will exclusively feature material from albums “Gish”, “Siamese Dream”, “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness”, “Adore” and “Machina.”
“This show and staging will be unlike any we’ve ever done, and will feature a set unlike any we’ve ever played. For if this is a chance at a new beginning, we plan on ushering it in with a real bang,” said Corgan.
The Smashing Pumpkins have released nine studio albums and have combined for 30 million albums sold.
Tickets for the tour go on sale on Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. on the group’s website or are available at the Infinite Energy Arena box office.
