Sam Smith will bring his The Thrill of It All tour to Gwinnett next year.
Smith will perform old and new hits at the Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth on July 10, 2018. Fans can access an exclusive 24-hour ticket pre-sale on Wednesday beginning at 10 a.m. at http://samsmithworld.com. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday beginning at 10 a.m.
Anybody who purchases a ticket will receive a copy of Smith’s new album, “The Thrill of it All,” which includes the album’s first single “Too Good for Goodbyes.” The single has already hit No. 1 on the U.K. and Global Spotify Charts and topped the U.K. and U.S. iTunes charts.
Rolling Stone has referred to “Too Good at Goodbyes” as “poignant” and Vulture wrote that Smith “packs an emotional punch with his lyrics.”
“If the rest of his upcoming album is as moving as this new song, it has certainly been worth it,” according to the entertainment news site.
It’s not the first time Smith has experienced success with his work. In 2015, Smith set a Grammy record by winning a total of four awards, the most ever received by a U.K. artist following the release of his debut album. His single “Stay With Me” won awards for both Record and Song of the Year.
Smith has also earned an Oscar, a Golden Globe, three Billboard Music Awards and three BRIT Awards.
