The man who was the creative force behind Pink Floyd is coming to the Infinite Energy Arena next summer. Roger Waters has announced a North America tour for 2017, which will include a stop at the Gwinnett arena on July 16.
The tour — called “Us + Them” — will feature classic Pink Floyd songs as well new songs and songs from Waters’ solo work. Tickets go on sale Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. and will be available at www. InfiniteEnergyCenter.com, the arena’s box office and by calling 770-626-2464. Waters promises the show will be “spectacular.”
“We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret,” Waters said. “It’ll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75 percent of it will be old material and 25 percent will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It’ll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
VIP package sales and Citi presale tickets will begin on Oct. 17. Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets for U.S. dates only, beginning on Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. through Citi’s Private Pass Program. For complete Citi presale details visit www.citiprivatepass.com.
