Religious world leader to speak in Gwinnett

DULUTH -- His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama is coming to Duluth, the arena announced Tuesday.
The lecture is slated for Oct. 8 and tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through www.gwinnettcenter.com, The Arena at Gwinnett Center Box Office or by calling 1-888-9-AXS-TIX. Prices range from $38 to $93.
This public talk by the Dalai Lama focuses on the fundamental human values that are the building blocks of an engaged and compassionate world in his speech called "The Pillars of Responsible Citizenship in the 21st Century Global Village" from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
An additional panel discussion will follow with His Holiness, top scientists and educators to talk about secular ethics in education.
The Arena at Gwinnett Center is located at 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
