Panic! At The Disco is heading to Gwinnett County this summer.
The Infinite Energy Arena announced on Wednesday that the rock band will perform at the arena July 29 as part of its Pray for the Wicked Tour. Arizona and Hayley Kiyoko will also perform at the arena that night.
Panic! At The Disco will release its new album, also called “Pray For the Wicked,” in June with the single, “Say Amen (Saturday Night),” already available with a pre-order of the album.
“After being away in New York for months doing ‘Kinky Boots,’ I just wanted to hang out at home when I got back to LA,” Panic! At The Disco frontman Brendon Urie said in a statement. “I was so revved up that I asked some friends to come over to my home studio to help me write about all the incredible things I’ve experienced the last couple of years.
“Pray For The Wicked is my ‘thank you’ to our fans and the most fun I’ve ever had making album.”
The band’s Duluth appearance is part of a 28-city tour that begins July 11 in Minneapolis and end Aug. 18 in Las Vegas. The band’s last album, 2016’s “Death Of A Bachelor”, went platinum, was nominated for the Best Rock Album Grammy in 2017 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
“Death Of A Bachelor” also produced three tracks that were certified gold-selling songs and three more that were certified platinum.
Tickets for the concert at the Infinite Energy Arena will go on sale at noon on March 30, and arena officials said the prices will range from $29.75 to $69.75. Anyone interested in buying tickets can purchase them at www.InfiniteEnergyCenter.com, the Arena box office or by calling 770-626-2464.
Anyone who buys a copy of “Pray For The Wicked” before 9 p.m. on March 29 will receive a pre-sale code to get early access to concert tickets. The band announced pre-sale tickets will be available at 9 a.m. on March 30 at PanicAtTheDisco.com.
