"I hate the headlines and the weather,” Lorde laments on "Perfect Places." “But when we’re dancing I’m alright.” The New Zealand pop star will transport Atlanta audiences to idyllic places (atleast for a few hours) when she swings by the Infinite Energy Arena next April.
Lorde will be on the road in support of her just-released sophomore album Melodrama, a concept album that traces the highs and lows of a party, and, in the process, life. She will be joined by special guest Khalid, who's thrilled for the coveted spot.
"She’s a great individual, she’s smart, she’s an amazing songwriter and she’s one of my biggest influences," Khalid said of his future boss. "When we came to the discussion of me going on tour with her I still couldn't really believe it was happening. It’s definitely going to be a breaking point I think. I’m going to break through a lot of different boundaries and I’m going to see a lot more of my international fans, which I'm so excited about."
Join Lorde and Khalid as they explore the “transcendent nature of partying” with Georgia audiences at the Infinite Energy Arena on April 14 by grabbing tickets here.
