Heavy metal hard rockers Five Finger Death Punch and Shinedown initially announced their co-headlining tour taking place this fall back in the spring. Little did fans know, the initial sixteen-date run across North America would turn into forty-nine total shows in arenas across the U.S. and Canada starting from Abbotsford, Canada on Sept. 9 and run until Dec. 9 in Tampa, FL. The veteran rock bands have now announced an additional fiftieth show on Dec. 10 at the Gas South District in Duluth, GA to close out their run of dates.

Five Finger Death Punch has been touring steadily since the release of their most recent studio album, Got Your Six, which came out back in September of last year. The album, the band’s sixth from the studio, has performed well, reaching number two on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart. This makes the fourth out of their last five albums that have peaked in the top five on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, earning the title as one of rock’s most successful contemporary recording and touring acts.

Shinedown’s latest album, Threat to Survival, came out just a few weeks following Got Your Six, and has performed just as well, peaking at number six on the U.S. Billboard 200 and number one on the U.S. Billboard Top Hard Rock chart.

They’ve been joined by fellow rocker Nikki Sixx’s side project SIXX:A.M., who have been on the road promoting their own album, Prayers for the Damned, which came out back on April 29.
