Country singer Eric Church is bringing The Outsiders Tour to The Arena at the Gwinnett Center on Dec. 11, the arena announced on Wednesday.

Church has built a reputation as a restless, creative force while following an unconventional path to country stardom. His fourth album, The Outsiders, is his most revealing, personally-charged statement.

“I really see this album as a game changer for us,” Church said. “I want people to know that we’re here and that we will be reckoned with.”

Beyond its diverse approach, one of The Outsiders’ recurring lyrical motifs inspired the album’s title and holds considerable personal resonance for Church.

“I’ve always felt like an outsider, and I still feel that way, “Church said. “That feeling is something that you never lose, no matter how much acceptance you get.”
