Concerts during Infinite Energy Arena's 'most successful' week gross $6.6 million

In seven days between July 11-17, the Infinite Energy Arena hosted six events, including five sold-out concerts, that has the arena calling it "the busiest and most successful week in the history of the venue."
According to the publication Venues Today, the numbers don't lie. Between June 27 and July 25, the Arena took four of the top five spots in gross ticket sales for venues worldwide (for arenas with a capacity of 10,001 and 15,000).
The arena hosted more than 51,000 guests during the six events. The concerts grossed more than $6.6 million in ticket sales.
At the top of the list, Paul McCartney sold 10,992 seats ranging from $59 to $254. The gross sales? $2,320,696.
Second on the list was the Roger Waters show, which sold 9,458 tickets ranging from $55 to $199.50 bringing in a total of $1,386,524.
New Kids on the Block sold 9,226 tickets ranging from $39.95 to $249.95 and racked up a total of $1,071,186. They were third on the list.
Kendrick Lamar came in at fifth on the list with gross sales of $943,090 and 9,846 tickets sold.
James Taylor and Bonnie Raitt were also a part of the Arena's busy week. According to the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the show grossed $910,281 and sold 10,257 tickets.
The arena said 22,880 16-ounce beers were purchased during the week. The changeovers entailed 520 total man hours across eight days. Venue operations averaged six hours for each quick turn.
The arena also hosted the Gwinnett County Public School summer graduation during that week.
