The impending newest member of the Grand Ole Opry will bring his latest tour to the Infinite Energy Arena in February.
Chris Young will perform his Chris Young Losing Sleep 2018 World Tour in Gwinnett on Feb. 15, 2018. Tickets and VIP packages go on sale beginning Friday at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at InfiniteEnergyCenter.com or by calling the Arena box office at 770-626-2464.
Young has been hailed as “one of the more commanding voices in country music,” by the Houston Chronicle. In his 2018 tour, he’ll be sharing the stage with Kane Brown and LANCO.
Before his concert last week at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. country star Garth Brooks sang Young’s praises.
“Perfect choice,” Brookso said of Young’s impending induction into the Opry. “I’m happy for the Opry, too, because you are only as good as the people that are on the bus. And to find the new people that are sweet and polite, and this kid is the most polite kid on the planet. Very educated in not just what the Opry stands for but the people who are the life blood of that Opry.
“Congratulations to the Opry and Chris. That’s sweet.”
“I’m excited to be getting out on the road in the new year with Kane and the guys from LANCO,” Young said. “It’s been really cool to write, record and tour wtih Kane over the last year. And then to have LANCO bring their unique energy out on the road, too — I guarantee it’s going to be a great time.”
